Hello everyone

About two years ago my air-con stopped blowing out cold air and wouldn't de-mist as efficiently as it used to. I also noticed that the auxiliary radiator fan which comes on and stays on during a/c operation cut out after 30 seconds from switching the air-con on.

I took it to a garage who re-gassed the system, it worked fine for about 3 days and then went back to warm air again. I took the car back to the garage where they put a dye in the system to trace any leaks. They coldn't see any trace of dye leaking out of the system at all, they even concentrated the dye but to no avail.

In the end the garage said the leak must be behind the dashboard, to even check whether this is the case it would end up costing me about £800 in labour fees because of the time it takes to take the dashboard out!!

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and has any tips on what I do next?
