I finally went out a bought a RNS-E nav unit for my A4 after debating for a while whether or not to stick with an audi product or to go aftermarket. I think I made a good choice. After installing it and testing it out everything works properly except for my XM. The screen will say initializing for a few minutes and then a screen will pop up saying that sat radio is a simple install and to contact an audi dealer to have a unit installed, the thing is the whole time its initializing, the radio is playing on the same xm station that it was on before I swapped units. I dont know if I need to have my nav reprogrammed to accept it or what. I installed the XM about a month ago and it worked great with my symphony II, could the receiver I have not be compatible with the rns-e? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
