i love it....as far as driving response, it's the best mod i've done so far...it's made out of the same **** as the apr mount, it's super stiff..
Then why do you want to get rid of it?

because the apr mount has a slightly wider diameter (hence the vibrations)...but i have a 2.8 5-speed, and i've never heard of vibration problems from the apr mount on my car...only on 1.8Ts, and mostly only on tips

I just bought an apr and have not had the chance to put it on yet. should I shave it down before I put it on if its gonna vibrate? ( I too have a tip)

the outside, usually just the top and bottom...i would do very little the first time, and just keep taking off a little more until the vibration stops...if you try to take too much off too soon, you may lessen the performance of your snub
