3in tp isnt to big, full three inch exhaust on stock turbo youll lose power.bigger test pipe with smaller exhaust is good way to for stock turbo.

 

So how do you fit a 3" testpipe to a 2.25" downpipe? Custom weld?

 

btw my borla is 2.25 not 2.5"

 

Yeah so is mine. My mistake. Borla is 2.25" all the way through. Same question: How do you get a 2.5" or 3" test pipe to a 2.25" dp? aRIf?

 

first some borla kits are 2.5 so he may have that but its usually taken care of with the test pipe just being a bottle neck, its kinda stupid imo thats why I stuck with the 2.5' tp from ecode

 

you dont need that big of a dp, i run a 2.5" dp and i doubt ur going to make more power then me

I run the ecode testpipe... He's right you need 3" exhaust the whole way back to run ATP.. As what ATP told me when I was shopping... Noticable hp gain from the test pipe

I'm also on stock downpipe, and stock exhaust the whole way back..
