Default Audi a4 potential buy

So i have been interested in audi's for a few months now and i finally find one for a good price and 87000 miles for $7500. its a 97 1.8T navy blue. Anyway i did my personal checks and inspections on the car and everything seemed pretty good although i new the belts needed to be replaced. Well i finally gave in and went ahead and did a buyers inspections which is probably the best 137$ i have spent in a while. what they found was the timing belt/water pump havent been done. needs tires rotated/aligned. needs NEW tires. Belts are cracking which means it needs new ones. it had 2 codes stored. i dont recall what they were but one was a Vaccume leak and the other was Turbo related. one of the tie rods needs to be replaced because you can shake the tire a lil bit. the rear left axel was leaking oil which i believe means the bearing needs to be replaced, it was interesting cause the same problem happened around 45k miles. also another audi owner 97 with 82k miles was in there to replace both rear bearings because of leaks. the cv boot was ripped open. So the tech said to repair all of that it was approx. 2000$. i took all that info back to the owner and got her talked down to 6000$ and told her i would only go to 5800. The last thing is that her husband hit a deer in there neighborhood and had the hood front bumper were replaced,,, left and right qp were repaired and installed. and the grille was replaced. also a couple years later somone rearended them and had the rear bumper replaced.

My question is how much of this can i do myself and save some cash ( im pretty mechanically inclined ) and is it worth the trouble of buying it and having somone elses problems? Just looking for opinions and see if its pretty good

Thanks alot,

Stan
