Avant is my remote door or not ??
Hi guys ive just bought a 1998 Avant 1.8 , it only came with one hard plastic Audi key , as I think it should be remote , I bought a blank blade and a used audi remote , had the key cut and followed the Autodata instructions on setting up a new remote .
I can not get the car to bleep like it says it should [
] , ive even tried a Vw remote I had here but no luck , it came with a service history but no owners books .
Please help .
