Default B5 boosting problem

Car is only boosting 5lbs from the 15-20lbs it was be4. For all u BOV haters out there i got rid of the damn thing because apperently that was the problem but it didnt help. Autohaus found a vaccum leak and fixed it but that still didnt help. Ive checked all the hoses and they look good. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE. The car is chipped with intake and exhaust.

Check your diverter valve and make sure it isn't torn. What year is it? Is it throwing any codes? What chip do you have.

BOVs are not a bad thing, unless you drive an audi or a porsche. the way that the engine works in this german beauties doesn't allow the BOV to do it's job. the DVs were made specifically for these two companies. by putting a BOV in your audi, it could cause the vacuum hose to leak or make any other problems with boost loss.
