Default brake hoses from hell

Finished putting on my coilovers. Figured what the hell, it's up in air anyway, might as well put on the brake hoses I bought with the rotor/carrier upgrade. Mistake, grrrr. What are these fittings made of, brass? Flare nut wrenches and all, shredded three fittings. No prob, get some brake line and a few fittings, back in business. Wrong again, need a bubble flaring tool, not the fine double flare tool that I own. Grrrr again.

Yeah, it came right out of the caliper. The fitting where the hardline goes into the hose was/is the problem. It's standard 4.75 line which is also 3/16. I need a different flaring tool. I'll look around tomorrow for one.
