Default Brake sensor wire... do I really have to look?

Hey all,

So I tried looking at which brake pad sensor I have for my 1999.5 A4 1.8T Quattro (round or rounded/square) and I can't see the sensor without getting under the car.

I read somewhere that NO A4 has ever come with rounded sensors and they were all the square ones. Is this true? I doubt it for some reason.

It's just a pain in the *** for me to take off the wheel and look because I live at school. I just want to order the damn parts.

BTW, the dealership wants $550 to do the brakes and an oil change (incl. parts). WOW.

Yeah I was planning on using ecstuning, but the reason I came here to ask was because I didn't know if the car has rounded-square connectors or round.

Those are some good links, though!

I will just end up doing the install myself. I've done brakes and oil a million times, it's just a pain at school because I have to find someplace to do it. I'll probably end up just driving home where I have my jack and stands and whatnot to work with.

David9999, how can you be so sure that they are rounded-square? Is it because none of the A4s came with round?

Thanks,
Brian
