brakes, what wrong with them?
hello everyone, i jsut put on ebc red stuff ceramic pads in the front, i put them on my stock old rotors, i felt like they were grinding something, so i got magnum cross drilled rotors, and its doing the same thing. I feel it in the brake pedal, its like its grinding on something, what could this be. I brought it to the mechanic and he said that pads could be to hard, because they leave 50 percent less brake dust, but i dont think thats true. Its not the backing plate, i have no idea what it could be, does anyone?>
I changed the the rotors and pads all way round and like a week later my wheel bearings went it was weird. When driving on the highway or at high speeds jerk the wheel to the left or right and see if it stops. If it does its the bearing.
it does take about 500 miles to break in new pads/ rotors.
you should see a months worth of rust build up. this is horrable to drive on till all the rust is all gone. feals like horrably warped rotors. and you cant stop
just noticed you have red stuff ...i thought they were for track use only.. i had green stuff and mintex reds before.currently on pbr metal masters
