matrix is from portland oregon. Are you?

I like them, they have been nice.

They are on nearly every audi site i know, and they work diligently to maintain and prosper their image. I would trust them implicitly with my car.
Thanks G.

In the portland area no one better than matrix for that too. Thier current s4 is nice.

There is also http://www.futrellautowerks.com/ they are on baseline in beaverton. I've never had any personal dealings or conversations with them. I know they have shops here in redmond, bellevue, and beaverton OR.

Thanks AK. A built 2.7T is definitely a LOT of fun. Our car does about 330whp which is about 440bhp. We have a client with an A6 2.7T (total sleeper) that laid down 410whp on race gas on our dyno! The B5 S4s are really coming down in price.

But....Nathan has a 30V NA, so let's get back to his questions.
Email coming back to you Nathan.

PS---Futrell has a shop in Beaverton and a new one supposedly in Bellevue (not a 3rd Redmond location).

LOL even i make mistakes.

As for the 2.8 you could certainly put a pes g2 on it. used they run about 2600-3000. Install costs will probably run 600-1000 to have a good shop install it. IE one that has done it before, and has the propper stuff to do break it in.

for that there is also the supersprint headers around 1100-1400 usd plus you have to yank the engine to get them on.

Port polish, custom pistons, and rods. Catback exhaust, aftermarket clutch, tires wheels, body kits.

you could do a one off twin turbo if you wanted. but most thing the 2.8 bottom end will not handle much over 10 psi. (a general consensus i have garnered from readings. The only real confirmation of that i have gotten was from PES who said above that the 2.8 and 3.0 would need to be beefed up.)

if you look in my 2.8 3.0 faq you'll see what information i have found.

What would you have to do to reinforce the engine, "Beef it up". And how much do you guys think that will cost. Im lookin for a long term project and might start collecting turbo supplies. It looks like a sweet project to me.
