yea my uncle caused a recall for the 5series when the new ones came out. He was inside and the car was warmin up outside and the passenger seat caught on fire...they gave him a new identical 5series for his troubles...and it happened again. So amazingly they let him out of the lease.

 

Your "inferno" button has been depressed. Turn it off by using a screw driver under the stearing wheel.

 

My 96 A4 passenger seat over heated and the bloody seatheater burned a hole the size of two quarters. Not only that my girlfriend was sitting on the seat at the time and it ruined her wool jacket.

 

and she didnt have the sence to get up when she felt her *** burning???? lol jk

 

yah that happened to me, i brought it to audi and they told me it was a short in the seatheater or something. audi payed for it

 

Also send a notice to the national highway traffic safety board. This is a safety issue and if they see a pattern they can force a recall.
