so a few weeks ago i installed a VIS OEM cf hood that i picked up from a buddy for a couple bills. while i was installing it i realized that the windshield washer jets mount IN the stock hood and not at the base of the windshield.
anyone who has installed a cf hood, what did you do with the washer jets/hoses? did you tuck them somewhere in the engine bay or did you make some new mounts for them so they are still operational? i want to still be able to use them, and im probably just going to make something so that they mount at the base of the windshield, but i'm curious what other people have done.

 

most cf hoods dont cater to the wind sheild washers people just zip tie or tuck em away

 

yea i have a cf hood also and it doesnt have that but it s get annoying not havin it with dirt and bugs on there

 

You can fab up some new mounts.

 

Attatch them to RC servos so you can aim them at people.

LOL , in my old corolla i would turn the sprayers on sideways so they sprayed the car next to mine, fun times

 

my friend did that to his jeep. the rear one sprayed striaght back

 

I'm really considering what to do with the headlight washers... they have such a strong pump, if you could have a switch to raise them, then a little wheel to aim them, and a button to spray, that would be soooooo neat.



Hm.... this may be a project in my cars future. lol!
