I got mine chipped by the local APR dealer the day after Christmas, also had new injectors and a Forge 007DV installed at the same time. Would have done the exhaust then too but Achtuning is taking forever getting my Milltek exhaust to me (ordered Dec 10, still not in yet). Body kit is in the spare bedroom waiting for spring (no use having it painted and installed in the middle of a Buffalo winter). Wheels, tires, and coilovers go on once the bodykit gets fitted. But all said, The chip and injectors where well worth the money.

body work is last on my list.

I don't know if I want to lower the car. stuck on that one but for a A4 I have custom installed a nightvision forward looking camera and rear camera veiwable on the AVIC Z1 radio I got installed. I ordered this 2 ch ditial recorder thatr will allow me to record the 2 camers while i am drivng around for kicks.

does the Carbonio really give good horse power? I'm really amazed as to how much power has after chipping it. I can;t imagen that car having more power to play with .... ......

The Carbino intake wasn't worth the $325 I spent on it, I don't know what other peoples experience's have been with this intake, but I wouldn't recomend it just for the fact its a bit of a pain in insatll and for $325 I shouldn't have to be reallignin and redrillin/retapping mounting holes. Not to mention once its installed I realized you basically have to dismantle half of it to get back to the filter to clean. Like I said, this is just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt. Hope this helped.

well they are charging me 249 for the carbino intake plus labor. I might just do the exhst. first then think about what I want to do with the intake. I understand that i have to give all that air somewhere to go so, i might aswell start from the exhst to the front. then get the intake. ?!?!? PROS/CONS?

I looked a t a few tech site about the DV. but one tells me that I need to get access from the bottom of the car and others show it on top. I'm going to get it done, look simple.

to tell you the truth, intake and exhaust is a waste of money until you have an upgraded turbo, save and do it all at once. that's what i did, K04, FMIC, full Miltek exhaust, Miltek highflow cat, Intake, Larger Injectors. But i'd do it all at once, the chip was fun stock and everything works together with just a chip and stock stuff. Oh and you'll wear out your clutch also when you do a full upgrade so you'll need at least a stage 2 clutch. The carbino is a waste of money in my opinion, it has the same set up as the stock air box, but is carbon fiber that's it. Big WHOOP..... Get one that gives your more hp, do some more research. I almost got one, then put my money elsewhere and did the full upgrade.. Just my 2cents

Thanks for everyone's input.

Great help for me.

The clutch and timing belt is something that is on my list, I'm reaching 90K on the car so I have those worries.

I am really happy with the APR and stock options. the power is great. So I'm just going to save up a chunk and get it all done at once.

Just having trouble finding out about the DV. where its location is in my car.
When I step on the car I hear this hissss'in sound like air trying to escape I guess its just to turbo pumping that air around.

I like all you honest replies.

Thanks

On the highway the car is great!!!!

the dv is right behind the radiator, just below and alittle tword the center of the car from the turbo. when i did mine i went from below, but you will want to pull the airbox intake so you can see down, it helps.
the only pain in the *** part about it is the audi one time hose clamps. you will want to make sure you have new clamps to put on. I used a dremmil tool to cut them off, but you need to be REALLY careful doing this because it's easy to slice rigth into the hoses. you can also use a pair of pliers, dikes, and a flat screwdriver and just mangle the bastards off. pop the new one in and thats about it..
