hey i am looking to buy another audi because some d bag that wasnt paying attention decided to hit me and total my audi. so the car that i am looking at is a 2002 audi a4 avant 1.8tqm and it is stock. so i wanted to know is a chipped b6 avant going to be faster than my chipped b5 sedan without my other mods and just the chip?the reason im looking at the avant is cause i found a deal that i cant really pass up so if anyone could answer myquestion that would be perfect. thanks

 

B6 is heavier than a B5.
Avant is heavier than a sedan.

B6 Avant is way heavier than a B5 sedan. so...... no, regular chip vs chip the B5 sedan will win..

but avants do handle a bit better than sedans as they are more neutrally balanced. and avants look sexy

no, because the chip raises the boost up to the same amount on both cars..

but the B6(and 01 B5) does come with the ko3 sport turbo.. which can handle a little more boost than the regular ko3.. they have what's called 1+ chips for the B6's. search on that or contact some of the tuners for more info. REVO, AWE, andAPR are the best ones
