i have recently bought a 1996 audi a4 1.8 se and have noticed a buzzing sound coming from the clutch pedal when i press or just touch it lightly with my foot doesnt seem to have an effect on the car and everything runs normally any body can help me out wouid be much appreciated thanks in advance

 

how many miles and service records for the clutch?

 

not to sure how many miles the clutch hasdone.car has done130000 the car service history book is up to date with no mention of the clutch. the clutch on the car is nice and light to use and even by touching the pedal with no pressure the buzzing sound happens seems to get lower once the car is warmed up more annoying than anything hope its not a big fix. HEEELP

 

id try to flush the fluid in the MC, and see if that has any effect you may be getting cloggs in the line an the buzzing is the fluid squeezing through

 

the sound is more of an electrical buzz than a mechanical or fluid straning to get throw a pipe

 

Do you hear the sound when the clutch is engaged, disengaged, or all the time?

 

the sound appears as i touch the clutch dissapears as soon as i take my foot of . dont even need to apply any pressure to the pedal just touching it really gently and the sound appears

 

when u push it all the way down do u hear like a click along the way down?

 

no clicking at all clutch is nice and free easy to use seems to be no problems apart from the noise
