Default Clutch Problemo

Hey whats up guys, gota small problem wiht my clutch i think....Today, after school i turned on my car, let it idle for a bit and pulled out of my spot. When i went to put it in 1st gear, it wouldnt engage totally, it seemed to go only 3/4 totally into gear. After putting it back in neutral, and back to 1st 3 times it finally went to its normal 1st gear position....whats going on?...Also, my shift from 1-->2 is realll rough, it seems so get caught in neutral for a moment, and then go to 2nd...is the answer to this a short shifter? cuz if it involve repracing the shifter might as well....thanks

Was is cold out when this happend? theres really no way to tell if it willl fix it untill you try. You could do the DYI short shift in the tech section and try that. Its kinda easy to screw up so you have to be careful.

the DIY makes the shift action more "Choppy" i dont think its your shifter i think it could maybe be a clutch linkage cable
