control arm install???
k gotta 01 2.8qt 5spd and am replacing the front control arms and heard something bout having to tighten them with the weight of car on wheels? researched and couldnt find anything,,,,,any1 know bout this?

The tightning up after the wheels are down is probably for the joint bolt which has an insane torque of 150ft + 180º degrees or something like that.

Every bolt that goes through a rubber bushing must be tightened with the suspension fully loaded to ride height.
This includes the inner bolt on all 8 control arm, the 4 sway bar links, and the 2 lower shock bolts.

thank u mikekim cuz the other response i got b4 urs was great (extreme sarcasim) "instalation is reverse of removal" might as well just buy and american car and a chiltons manual for that lol
