check it.. real easy to fix... pop the trim around the shifter with a flat hood... you pop it out just by prying it off in the back of it next to your e brake is... there is something loged in there prob some lose change... that ash try should pop out after you remove what ever was keeping it jammed... good luck its very easy procedure
