No!! (im not just saying that because im stock either)

Ricey is puting a F1 wing on the back or a hideous unpainted body kit when all you have is a cone filter and rice bowl on the back.

is it ricey to debadge if your car is stock?
hell to the motherfukin no. rice is when something not fast tries to impersonate something that is fast i.e.- they say the wing is for downforce when the car cant even get up fast enough to where the downforce makes a difference. debadging it makes it look nice and clean. i definitely recommend it on b5 a4's especially black ones

yeah, that makes sense. That's what I've got, and I'll probably debadge soon, I just wanted to see if people thought I'd look like a tool doing it before any other mods.

you only really have to worry about shadowing on red cars. the iron oxide in the paint on red or reddish cars cane change hues from moisture and uv exposure. pretty dramatically is the car is aged ungaraged.

question, is it illegal to debadge? Seeing as the cops might not know what kind of car it is if they were giving you a ticket or is it just the license plate number they need to ticket you?

hahaha... i had shadowing when i debadged mine but mine is white.... polished and what not for a long time with no results so i kinda left it alone and a few months later is was all gone and it looks sick on white...everyone should debadg i think the A4 and the 1.8T and 2.8 are ugly...ive seen some with the rings off in the back and that looks pretty neat...

I disagree that everyone should debadge. My Avant would be hideous, as the badges are the only thing that break up the hatch. It'd look like a Saturn without em [:-]

there is no way debadging is illegal. the easiest way to do it is to get the emblems off with some type of string, then just go to a body shop and ask them to use an eraser wheel to get the gunk off, then just wax it.

and new2me, nice pit.
