Hahahaha very funny... very true as well.
Anyway, this does really work. You have to have a pretty good feel for your car though. When you are in 1st just accelerating slowly place slight back pressure on the shifter. When you get to a certain amount of rev's the shifter will pop back to Neutral. . . . If you do it really quick you will be able to slide it into second with no grinding & no clutching. You can do this through all the gears with some practice. This happens when the engine rev's & the gearing is all lined up perfectly. I think it happens at a couple of stages in each gear. I used to do this really successfully in the skyline but have only done it a few times in the Audi. I'm unsure why, but i'm scared too. :-).
