I did a search and found that CVT couldn't handle the power when chipped, but also found GIACs new chip for CVTs. I just wanted to know if any members here have chipped their CVT A4s? I have a 04 1.8T CVT.

 

i really dont know of anyone here that does but im sure if you talk to GIAC or APR they will tell you if its ok to do it... they are good people and arent gunna try and sell you something thats gunna toast your tranny

 

Thx for the reply, I found some guy here that posted in 2005. He chipped his CVT with APR, but his performance chipped and stock 0-60 numbers were not that great. Anyways, I PMed him about it, hopefully he can let me know how his car is doing now.

 

yea chances are if he hasnt posted since 05 he probably doesnt check that often lol...... I dont know what the numbers are but anythings better that stock
