Default Euro tunning

Hey All.... I just bought a 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro 5 Speed... I wanna mod the car but nothing to extreme... I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions to give the car some more pep with out taking away from the every day driveability... I was thinking of a stage I chip, exhaust, and an intake.. I like Magnaflow exhaust was wondering if anyone has an opnion on that brand for this car.. Aight any name brands or any other help you might offer would be great... Thanks

Borla sounds great... you are on the right track for what you are tryin to achieve.. Chip/exhaust/quality intake-dont just throw a cone filter on there, if its an open filter as in not in an air box, gotta make sure you have proper heat shielding or else youll hurt your performance by sucking in hot air.

you have the right idea, that is about what i have done,
my car is a bit older 1998 1.8t
and i just did a TAP-1 stage 2 chip $599-, i went with the milltek exaust $799- (very mild sound, and good look, preforms like a champ) K&N drop in $45-.
i did the cone, and took it out..it had a little more in the top end, but noise, bov flutter rough idle ect....botom line i put the stock box back in..
now i have a 2 stage BOV (and don't ask what that is, the others will burn ya, i got tosted) BUT i am now thinking of taking it out, after what i have read here.
it sounds cool, but it is getting old fast.....
with any boost upgrade, you should replace the DV, and yes your car has one now.

search the forums, you should find what you need, it has helped me ALOT!!!!
