factory lights to xenon?

If you want to do the cheap thing like me just go to ebay and buy some NOKYA ARCTIC WHITE halogen bulbs. They are 100 watts instead of the stock 55 watts and they run about 20 bucks a set over the 40 bucks for the crappy ones at autozone. They are pretty blue but still nothing compared to the HID look that the conversion kit will give you. The different bulbs were great for me at first but now I amused to it and I really want the HID's. Just look around on ebay for a decent prices conversion kit or you can go to www.hidking.com
Try the Nokya's at first and see how you like them for the price.

Visionbulbs sellsan HID Conversion Kitfor $200. They're good quality.
Like greene08 said, don't do that - the wiring harnesses aren't built for that kind of current draw and can melt - not a good thing. Besides, even at $200, an HID kit is well worth the money (the first one I bought was almost 8 years ago and I paid over $500 for it, and at that price it's still worth it), let alone the $59 kits at VVME. Audi and "cheap" are not synonymous - spend a few extra bucks and get the real deal. audi_98_a4 is definitely right about it - the HIDs are so much more worthwhile than halogens of any type, and the halogens don't begin to approach the output of the xenons. Just whatever you do, don't waste your money by buying an HID kit and specifying bulbs over a 6000K temperature range - might as well stick with halogens if that's your aim.
