my clutch is on its way out, thats how i got the car, thats y i might replace the clutch before i even chip it. i have someone building me a 4-puck clutch for $350 and my tranny guy said he can put it in for about $150, so for about the same price as a chip i can feel almost nothing and spend the same amout of money!!!woo hoo i love used cars haha. its all good though id rather b safe then sorry.

well the guy thats building it does that sort of thing for a living, so if he sells one a little cheap here and there its no big deal. and my tranny guy is a long time friend so he said i can come down one saturday and me and him will put it in. im saving money buy helping the guy put it in plus hes a friend. sometimes its not what you know its who you know i guess.

is this clutch he is building going to be good ?
i would probably steer away from something that is unproven like his, and get like a spec or south bend stage 2-3
a 4 puck clutch sounds like it would be harsh to me, like engaged or dis engaged, and you may loose some of your driveablity

i figure having it chipped with make almost everything go quicker because it makes everything like the turbo work harder...

So what are your plans to do with the brakes? A clutch isnt that bad to change and not expensive at all if you want to make any kind of power. So you saidthe car feels like new again, so does that mean that it still feels stock?

So i just got the APR chip for my car cost me about 500 total...and i must admit it is the greatest thing i have ever done! this thing is amazing, almost like a brand new car!...when i got in the car and put the pedal down just in 1st gear i felt all the pull..i almost **** my pants...i'm in love and cant stop driving my car now...
tomorrow im upgrading my breaks so i can stop and fixing this noise from the rear end of my car..im thinking wheel bearing...I'm going broke after this week... but its all worth it
