good deal on timing kit?
this is the best i have found.... partly because it includes everything, and shipping is included...
does this seem like a good deal to all of you? or would you reccomend getting it somewhere else? and does it iinclude everythign i shuold do at this time?

price is OK. Only question is whether the waterpump has a plastic or metal impeller. You should go for the metal one.
Other source for a kit is ECS tuning, but you have to add a few minor things like seals.

?.... is it totally necessary that i replace the water pump? cant i inspect it or.... its all highway miles on this pump.... if i'm correct its hard accerlation/ fast take offs that kill water pumps...
The bearings go on these things. No you don't have to change it, but the pump is cheap. The major cost is labor to get to it. Once you have gotten to the timing belt, it is just 15 more minutes to take off the retaining bolts and the hoses and scrape off the old gasket.
Otherwise I guess labor would run 3-4 hours for the pump.
