Headlights not working in cold weather?

Headlights not working in cold weather?

So I had this happen a couple of times last year, but seemed to go away.

I live in Minnesota and when it get's really cold, the headlights will not come on. If I pull the car into a heated garage for like 2 minutes, it warms up and they come right back on. It's just the main headlights, the highbeams and floodlights work fine.

Anyone have any ideas what this is all about or what I can do to resolve it?

I would say its the switch on the steering wheel there is a post some here about it
