I have an 05 b6 a4 and it has been driving just fine since i bought it about two months ago. Earlier today i noticed that when i got out of the car it smelled like a burning clutch but I hadnt been driving it hard at all. So all the sudden this afternoon I couldnt shift into ANY gear. It wont shift into any gear at all there's no evidence of a problem with anything else on the car I just cant shift out of neutral. It seems as though theres not enough fluid in the clutch lines but I cant find a clutch resovior of any kind. Any other manual car i had had a clutch fluid resovoir on top of the master cylinder but I cant find one in this car. This is the first audi I've had and I'd really like to get my car back so any help is greatly appreciated Please and Thank you!!!!

 

So after a little more research I've come to find out that the clutch shares the brake resovoir. Does this mean that I need a new clutch or a new master cylinder, or is it something completely different
