Help! Rear brake tool stuck in caliper
So im on the last set of brakes, did both fronts, pass rear, now my caliper tool is stuck between the piston and caliper. I cant turn it counter clockwise to get it to come loose. I just bought this damn tool and really dont want to cut it in half. WTF can i do
if its the tool im thinking of it has a handle to lock it up ans a spanner point to undo it ( used for left hand thread ) the silver bit
I guess you got the 2 pins locked in the piston

Figured it out, im retarded, never done rear pads before. Apparently you have to use a wrench on the lower part once it becomes locked. thanks for all the advice. Im gonna go change my underwear, drink a beer, and finish putting my car back together.

If its like a C-clamp and it won't turn the other way try large channel lock plyers to give you leverage and get it to turn. Why not just use a 10 dollar C-clamp for the job?

because rear pistons must be turned at the same time as being retracted... prettty much requires the use of the brake tool
and i cant tell u how many times stopping for a beer helped clear my head and ease my frustration! good call!
