I am having the same problem with my 2003 A4. I went on vacation with the wipers working, when I came home 7 days later the wipers are not working. They will move several inches then stop, then 10-15 seconds later they move another inch. Any idea what the problem may be or how I can fix it.

Last time I went to the dealer they quoted me $79 to diagnose/fix washer fluid problem, so I cleaned the nozzles and they work perfectly. I would like to avoid dealer if this is a simple problem.

 

mine is having the same problem they got really slow now they just move a few inches at a time, how do i get to the motor and is it hard to clean?
