HID - Not so bright!!

if the light is faded most likely its the bulb. Switch them to make sure. If not then its the ballast.

It's a pain but it can be done. I did it on another car by removing the headlight bulb and the housing itself from the car. I wrapped/taped a shop towel on a thin dowel, doused it in alcohol, and put it in through the bulb opening to swab out the inside of the lens..

If he touched the bulb with his fingers, that would most likely cause the bulb to burn out very quickly. I bet it just isin't aimed correctly.
