How will APR tuning affect resale (up or down)?
It definitely depends on whether your selling it to someone who plans on modding it, or someone who plans on keeping it stock and daily driving it. I agree with wood_e, I would sell the chipped ECU and throw a stock one in your car.
def advertise it as stock, you dont need a new ecu if you have stock and chipped mode just put it on stock mode, most people buying a used audi would have no idea. They would think car is bone stoock.
Ask APR what they recommend, whether the chipped ECU is transferable, what engines and models it covers, and then see what makes more sense economically.
Dont say anything. Just say A4 dont say stock or chipped. If you write stock then they say this one feels alot more powerful and you throw in "oh yeah its chipped"
! I would think something is very fishy.

I don't know how it works in your state, but in MA if you don't fully disclose ALL mods to the car when selling it, could come back to bite you....BTW, doubt your warranty is any good now that you've messed with the ECU. sooo, I guess my point is, unless you get lucky and find someone lookin for a tuned car, chipping will lower your resale.
