just did snub!!!
This is not really an "engine mount" perse - but a bushing that reduces the amount of engine movement up and down in the front of the car. the snub sits in a cup that cushions the upward engine jerk as you hit the gas.
The stock snub is rubber and loses its effectiveness in about 2 years, depending on your driving style and climate. The typicial replacements we are using are polyurethane and are harder and more durable.

since ppl have the vibration problem when they install the snub, would it be smart to just go ahead a shave off 5mm on both sides of the snub instead of not shaving it and if there are vibrations, have to re-do it?
