more displacement for all that air that monster of a turbo your putting on your little engine is why a stroker kit is good and your wanting it to spool by 3000 rpm. i deff say its gonna be reliable bc usually a stroker kit is made of only forged parts being better than stock...oh and never stack a head gasket your just asking for trouble. maybe get a custom thickness but thats it. i think you need to do some hard core researching before you do this man with the questions your asking bc i waited a bit until i read up on audis and they are deff a whole other world of tuning. a very careful one at that

 

Do you maybe know where to get this custom thickness gasket or maybe somebody is doing it? We do not have them in EU, people here are just doing it with two of them. I know somebody who has this on his car and he is driving GT2871R, so far so good.

 

if you do it there is nothing wrong with boring it to 2.0 but you need to get your blocked sleeved so you can run some high boost

 

Yea I think vr6t people use 2 although not positive on this. My reasoning why I'd go with e stroker is just that its been proven reliable where the bored 2.0 hasn;t really been tested. It may work fine but then again nobody really will know until its done.

 

Did you do it already, I mean boring cylinder? Also if you done it, how it should be done, procedure maybe?
