I got it with 2 6mm tee fittings as well so i can hook it up with the N75 if I need to for some reason. Total was 68.80. Hopefully this will work out well! Guess I will see!

I hooked up my cheap turbosmart ball and spring mbc (its all the local tuner had...) bypassing my n75. I just unplugged the vac lines from the n75 and plugged in the mbc in it's place. No extra hoses or tee's needed. I left the electrical connection on the n75 so the computer still thinks it's running the show.

It works great, spools super smooth, slams up to 20 and stops there, holds like it should, and eventually starts to fall... but everything is nice and smooth. The only issue I've come upon is sometimes if I'm in 5th on the highway and slam it down and then go half throttle, I think the mbc ball jumps around or something, and gets confused, but it's only if I put the throttle at an exact spot... and if it happens, i just let off a bit or press down a bit and it's fine. I guess this is the byproduct of not getting a gated/bleeder type... or so I hear. Otherwise, I love it.

 

Yeah I was having that jumping around problem with the gated/bleeder mbc in all gears! It was so annoying! And it was pretty much if I mash the throttle and then let up at all between 1/2 and full throttle it would start jumping around really bad. Switched back to the N75 and it's all good now except that I am only boosting to 15psi. SO hopefully this MBC will fix it.
