How do I manually reset the service light in the new type (2008/2009) Audi A4?

I have this -

But it doesn't do it on the new models.

you can take it to the dealership and they will charge you 35 dollars for it. They have to use their own scanner

 

B8 chassis requires the new VAS or ODIS service function. It resets 4 or 5 channels depending on the equipment. You can individually reset them using rosstech, but you need to know the values.

Find a dealer nearby to do a LOF special for $80 and ask politely to have the service light reset.
