Hi everyone, I am in the market for an A4 wagon and need some help deciding b/w a:

- '03 A4 1.8T w/63k, auto, carfax shows all maintenance was done at an Audi dealership at the recommended scheduled times. Asking $11,900

or

-'03 A4 3.0 w/44k, manual, carfax shows it being serviced a couple times, otherwise no other maintenance records. Asking $12,900

Which one would you go for and why?

Whats should I start the offer at?

I would start much lower in price. Both vehicles are due for timing belt jobs due to age. Use that as a negotiating price.

BTW i sold a really clean A6 with 120,000 miles on the clock for $6500 last month so i think the prices are too high.
