The car runs smoothly once the revs are up but idles rough, and never stalls. What could be the cause(s) of the lean mixture? What the difference between the two sets of lean codes, aren't they saying the same thing? About a month ago I got some codes saying the exact opposite. There was a rich mixture and another code about MAF circuit open/bad ground. I thought the MAF was the problem but now with these new codes saying the exact opposite I'm even more confused. Thanks in advance.
Well I figured out whats wrong. I was just heading down to the store when the car just died on me. Luckily there was no traffic so I just coasted to a halt directly in front of the store, yea I know how convenient. It crank and start then just die so I pretty much figured its just not getting fuel. So I said let me take a look at the MAF before I call a tow truck to get back to my house less than a mile away. I popped the hood and immediately saw that my ebay intake was disconnected from the throttle body. I tightened everything back up and my car is back to its old pig rich self. What a relief...I'm still gonna change out the maf and precat sensors, eventually.
