Damn... I have a ZEX 6.7lb Flywheel on my Turbo single cam... No problems at all. The only occurences I've had with chattering pertaining to Flywheels was when I didn't resurface the Flywheel when we changed the clutch.

Well on the 944, I bought a new clutch and flywheel at the same time, as well as a master and slave cylinder (had nothing to do with the chatter but I did buy them because the slave took a ****). Clutch and flywheel came with everything, flywheel, pilot bearing, TOB, PP, disc and the alignment tool, but still had the chattering afterward, I dunno.

But I was almost thinking when the A4's clutch starts to slip, I was going to have it lightened, but and having second thoughts. Thinking more, maybe if I kept a stocker and had them drill some holes and only cut a little off it, it won't have that problem. I'm not sure yet, when the time comes...I'll know.

ZedEx, I would stay away from clutch masters, i have heard of lots of fitment issues. Get a good southbend cltuch, it will react closer to the honda clutch feel your used to. (not flaming here, just pointing that out)

I have only had two seperate sets of clutchmasters clutches/flywheels.....one on a gsr and one on a gst, and I loved them both. They were both perfect...and I got 50k+ miles out of the gsr...and sold it. I dont know about their products for audis.

A friend of mine has a lightweight flywheel in his s4, and he has chattering.......so maybe it is just audi's.

Meh... Think I'll wander away from the Lightened Flywheel. The Outie is my daily driver, I don't think I want to deal with that chattering every day. With the race car, I honestly don't care, but for every day driving. *thumbsdown*

Why are there so many choices. [&:]
