i agree that neuspeed isn't really onto of there tuning audi's, i'd go with apr or giac chip if i could do it again but no real complaints. SPP is rather close and they always push the neuspeed even though they sell the milltek too. I'm thinking the magnaflow setup bent by my muffler guy is the way to go without spending alot. i have trouble coming from trucks with $160 flowmaster cat-back systems, to AWE exhausts for just over $1000, but i know that they make a good product, hard to seperate myself from that coin, I'm good for about $500 at a time in buying mods (note i dont have rims yet).

Yah, i paid a grand for my apr exhaust, worth it in my opinion, for
sound atleast, i personally think the tips sit a little low, but ill take care
of that when i jack my car up next week for the DTS install. Oh, and I
was pushed for the Neuspeed chip as well and hell it was 100 dollars cheaper
and 1 bar, yah more like max 16 psi. Although i cant give it that much credit
becuas i only hit 15 and hold 10, and yah i had presure test, its the chip. They
call it OPTICAN, i call it **** can. Id say go custom, especially if you know the
guy and know he will take his time and make you happy.

look into AWE's exhaust. it is very nice for the B6 just like all of their products are.. as for the Neuspeed thing. you guys are being a little harsh. their stuff may not be up to par with GIAC, Dahlback, or APR for the B5's. but for the B7's, their chips are fantastic.. i think they put out the most power for the FSI motor above everytone else.. their exhaust may not be pretty like Borla's but it gets the job done just as good

nice low and no drone...

I found a scorpion muff on ebay that I have a custom setup on my car and love it..its also a european brand ...look into it

Just look at it this way:

Its a lot of coin, but its a dual exhaust, and you'll NEVER have to replace it again because its stainless steel all the way back.

Unless you run over one of these:
