I want like to start by lowering the center of gravity, maybe go the coilover route...but I'd like to see what other owners are running.
welcome! we need more estrogen around here (can't believe i said that).

personally, i'm really diggin' my grooved bilstein shocks that allow you to adjust ride height just like a coilover, but for a significant amount less ($). they can be adjusted from 2" below stock to 1" above. i'm planning on crankin' it up for winter ridin', down low for summer speed. here's the way it sits now ...

nice, dont forget timing belt ever 60k, and get a chip:

" The latest chips now available for 5sp and Tip
Free lifetime upgrades
Lower torque CVT specific chip now available (+30hp, +40 ft.lbs.) "

2002 - 2005 Sedan Quattro Manual 02A4, 01c. 03A4, 28. $495.00
What chip would you be referring to? I've read alittle about performance chips available thru APR...GIAC...Revo...

$495...is that about the ideal price point?

I heard that the timing chains are something we A4 owners need to keep an eye on...I guess I can rule out the gauge moniter to remind me?? I got the car with 40,000 on it...so I guess I'll be keeping tabs on that.

oops sorry i ment to post a link in there, its there GIAC chip 2002 1.8t, sorry abotu that here it is
