I'm sorry for posting this as you've most likely seen one of these many times.

I'm thinking of getting an A4 (budget of ~$25k). I was thinking of an '03 6-cylinder because of the better reliability than the turbo'd 4-cyl (I'm not a modder either). With that being said, is this a realistic price? I checked kbb and it was close. What have you seen in terms of these prices?

As far as the reliability, after a little reading around here, there are a couple things that I think I should ask about: for the '03, are there still the problems with the front suspension and the timing belts? What about electrical issues? Anything else with this model/year that I should be aware of and looking for when shopping around?

take it to a vw/audi mechanic before you buy it

 

You'll pick one up cheaper i think.

 

i dont think youll have a prob with the timing belt on the 6 cyl....but go to a mechanic
