Hey guys
I have a 97 Audi 1.8tq as well and the same thing happened. I only found out 2 months after buying it when I went in for an oil change.
The stealership told me i need new crank ventilation tubes and cam seals. I heard the head gaskets dont normally go but its the svt, cam seals and oil pan gasket or something like that. My local audi mechanic who I trust a lot said the same thing and estimated it to be close to 1500 bucks for the whole thing, hence I have still not done it.
It needs a quart of oil every 1500 miles or so...so not too bad a leak but can SMELL it...
any DIYs on this if possible?
