I guess my AEB engine sucks.. It did nothing.. I tried it and got nothing, so I tried again and put the key to the other position and again nothing.. it didn't hum click nothing.. I guess i'll have to try and make it to an autozone or something and get a scan. I think all my memory was lost

 

yeah, as soon as you swapped the battery's the codes were cleared. but if your TB doesn't align itself, maybe your TB is bad

 

I don't know.. I guess it could be.. how far do I turn the key? 1 click, 2 clicks, start.. ? I mean I tried both so i don't think its gonna really matter.. The funny thing is I undid my battery before for like 3 hours and it just idled funny for like 50miles then it was fine.. but now its just undriveable

 

is your cel flashing? you could be running on two cylinders since you have to hold the accelarator to have it run just a lil

 

no its not blinking.. I had that problem not long ago.. all the coils are fine it was that little block thing on the airbox.. I can't think of what its called. I honestly don't know what i'm gonna do

 

For what it's worth, when you do the throttle body alignment, you just turn the key to the position right before you'd crank the engine over.

 

ive never had this happen but from past experience it sounds like it may be the fuel pump. if its bad, its a lot worse on those freezing winter days. in my old car there was no signs of anything wrong and then on morning i started the car, it idled really low, so i thought it needed to heat up, so i let it do that, then i drove for about a 1/4 mile and the car just died. if your car is cutting out when you give it gas then you shoulld look into the fuel pump. my car was almost stalling out when i gave it gas, then i slid on some ice while trying to go and the car went high in the RPMs then just cut out all together and wouldnt start again.

 

I dont think its that... It just has trouble going over 2,000rps I did take it out for about a mile around town and was able to get it up to 6,000rpms with (wot) and shifted into second, but the secondI shifted into 2nd and took my foot off the gas it died back down to 200 rpms.. I really don't wanna take it out onto the highway but i'm running out of options here. when it did go up to 6,000rpms It only made 6psi so I think there is def something up with the computer. I need it reset or something.

 

I did it again.. it did hum for about 3 seconds and i'm not totally sure i heard it click, but it stopped after 3 seconds... I really think I just need a vag-com reset or something... is anyone around that has vag com? I'll give you $50 to get my car running
