is it possible to add remote start to factory key fob?

are we talking about the bottom piece under the steering wheel ? if so i you can pull down on it, not too hard though those clips bend easy and when you put it back on it wont fit against the dash as well

i was thinking just use the panic button, those are for girls and "girls" anyways

initialdtm, please post a how to, and what remote start you used.... I really want to do this badly, but dont want to have to pay for another alarm just to have security AND remote start, because I am sure as hell not carrying 2 remotes in my pocket.... the Audi key, and Remote is already overwhelming at times.

I just use my remote start fob and my valet key, I don't need to lock my glove compartment anyways.

Just a thought ....your talking about a 4th button on the remote, well if you don't need the "panic" button. Locate the active port on the car , re-route to the control path of the remote starter.
Just a thought...?
