Did you do anything differently when you installed your chip? Such as mess with the diverter valve?

they changed the valve and it didnt work... ive had the car chipped since the fall of 06 and its been going into limp mode ever since. i have the vag com on my laptop so i can fix it... it justa pain to do it every time... it only goes into limp mode if i accelerate half way. if i take it easy or push it real hard it doesnt go into limp mode... and i got the downpipe from ecode tuning
