I just bought a new 2005.5 A4 a few weeks ago and this is the second time the remote goes out on me. I can see that the battery is still working since the little light flashes when I hit a button. When I took it to the dealership to address me they resetted the remote and it worked. Now it has happened again, does anyone know how to reset the remote control?

 

you should take it to the dealership and explain that it's an inconvenience for you to have to keep coming back for the same problem....they should be taking care of you....you just gave them forty thousand dollars...

 

I’m having a similar problem…my remote works when it wants to. I try to open my trunk w/ the remote and it won’t open. At the same time I can still unlock my doors via remote. Later that day when I try again the trunk opens before I ever get around to reprogramming it.
