So I drove my '02 A4 1.8T through a deep puddle without realizing it until it was too late, and ever since, I have heard/felt a rumbling/grinding /knocking whenever I accelerate in low gears. I do not hear it on the full spectrum of each gear, but when I'm under 2000 RPMs or above about 3500 RPMs, I'll hear it. Once I get into 4th or 5th gear, the sound and feeling goes away. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this problem?

I put it up on a lift and there was nothing that jumped out as being out of place...
