ICM is on top of the airbox, under the cover.

If your misfire is in cylinder 2, that is your problem.

changed the coil pack all the spark plugs put in iridium. Still have the same problem. I have to check icm. what is it?
Did you get rescanned for fault codes? If you didnt have the cyl. 1 misfire cleared, it will still show up. If all you did was move a bad coil pack from cyl. 1 to a different cylinder, the problem will persist. You have to get the ecu rescanned to see if the misfire followed the coil pack.

Duh, sorry I totaly missed when you said that. You are saying that you replaced cyl. 1 coil pack and you are still getting a cyl. 1 misfire fault code??? If you replced the plugs and coil pack, the only other things it could be is the ICM, bad head gasket (not likely), or the coil pack harness/wires. Im betting ICM, but like ace said, a cyl.2 misifre goes hand in hand with a bad ICM so I dunno.

On mine, I had to swap out all four because they were all about to go even though I got misfire code for one cylinder. Seems like with coilpacks, when it rains, it pours. I swapped out one, and then they went in succession after I'd swap out the next.
I hate to be the one who brings up the "idiot check", but sometimes we all forget the dumb stuff.... so, you did check gap on all plugs?

If all of your pluggs were foiled i would check to make sure the injectors arent clogged its easy to pull out ther are DIY's jsut search or you can try to clean your plugs either way worth a shot.

Yes, checked plug gap going to run a check on everything else we can think of, like onepoint8tee said "DUNNO". Maybe if I threaten to sell it might start running correctly. Its worked before. Thanks for all your help will keep ya posted on what happens with this "mystery missfire".

I have icm with just 1 cylinder acting up most of the one i have run into is cylinder 3. Anyway injectors could also be a cause. I bet on the icm though

icm seems to be problem checked injectors checked plugs again rescanned then checked icm it seems my cousin "mechanic" its not completing the loop or something. I get stumbed when it comes to the electrical end of things so tomorrow getting new icm. Should solve the problem and back on the road we go.
