You will be ok for about 6 months depending on the condition of your shocks. After some time your shocks will blow out and they will need to be replaced. If you are goin to install them youself i suggest you should wait and get the shocks and do it all at once. Chaging springs in an a4 isn't much fun. I found it easier to put a full six inch lift on my jeep compared to just changing the springs in my a4!

Yea I really dont see the problem in it. As long as you trim your bumb stops, so the shock can travel at the lowered height youll be fine. There really isnt any accelerated wear. Ive had my teins springs for some time and they handle like a champ in the turns

stock sport shocks usually last a long time with eibachs. one of the techs at work had a 99 with eibach pros and the shocks are stilll good 6 years later..

he said the reg shocks suck with aftermarket but the sport are okay. he also said if ur car has high milage then might as well replace the shocks

but we all know that so i dont knwo why ijust wrote all that..
